Nghe An: Honoring 64 ethnic minority children and children in difficult circumstances who are good students
(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of July 28, the Provincial Youth Union - Young Pioneer Council of Nghe An province organized a festival for ethnic minority children and children with difficult circumstances to excel in their studies in the 2016 - 2017 school year.
Attending the festival were representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee, the Department of Education and Training, comrades in the Standing Committee, departments of the Provincial Youth Union, representatives of districts, cities, and towns; charitable units and businesses and 64 ethnic minority children in difficult circumstances.

Nghe An province has more than 400,000 team members and children, including nearly 7,000 children from policy households, ethnic minority children, and poor households in difficult circumstances.
Over the years, the Youth Union and Young Pioneers at all levels have cared for children with practical actions both materially and spiritually; coordinated and mobilized organizations and individuals to donate thousands of gifts worth tens of billions of VND to ethnic minority children and children in especially difficult circumstances to add spirit and motivation to help them strive to excel in their studies and training.

The 64 team members and children invited to attend the festival are 64 children sponsored by the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee and the Provincial Youth Union Council, assigned to 14 affiliated youth union units for long-term support, with plans for each stage, from when they are young to adulthood. These are all typical examples of ethnic minority children who strive to overcome difficulties and strive to excel in their studies.
