Nghe An supports over 6.8 billion VND to prevent and fight Covid-19 epidemic

On June 4, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province continued to organize a ceremony to receive donations to the Covid-19 Prevention and Control Fund from agencies, units, businesses, organizations and individuals in the province; with a total amount of over 1.7 billion VND.

Of which, Tan Nam Construction Joint Stock Company donated 1 billion VND; Cua Lo Sea Gold Joint Stock Company donated 200 million VND; Nghe An Electricity Company donated 100 million VND; Nghe An Industry and Trade Department donated 90 million VND; Provincial People's Committee Office donated 40 million VND; Nghe An Radio and Television Station donated 41 million VND; Nghe An Customs Department donated 30 million VND; Provincial Management Board of Investment and Construction Projects of Civil and Industrial Works donated 22 million VND.

Nghe An Mental Hospital donated 20 million VND and 2,000 masks; the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs donated 20 million VND; the Provincial People's Council Office donated 10 million VND, the Department of Tourism donated 7.2 million VND...

According to the report data of the Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province: As of 5:00 p.m. on June 4, 2021, the total number of registrations received to support Covid-19 prevention and control in 2021 in the whole province is:6.8 billion VND (registration fee 5.6 billion VND, converted goods value 1.2 billion VND)

- Registered in the province: A total of 68 units registered to support 3,256 billion VND and the converted value of goods was 1.4 million VND.

- Registered at district level: 14/21 implementing units, total registration and implementation of 3.6 billion VND (money: 2.3 billion VND; converted value of goods: 1.2 billion VND).

On behalf of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Le Van Ngoc sent his thanks to the agencies, units and enterprises that have actively responded to the Call of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Nghe An Provincial Fatherland Front Committee "All people unite and make efforts to prevent and fight the Covid-19 epidemic".

The joint efforts of agencies, units, organizations, individuals and businesses have added resources to help the province and the whole country prevent and fight the Covid-19 epidemic.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee emphasized that the Covid-19 epidemic is developing extremely complicatedly, so along with joining hands to support resources for Covid-19 prevention and control; he requested agencies and units to thoroughly educate cadres, civil servants, families and relatives not to be negligent and subjective, and strictly comply with epidemic prevention and control measures./.
