(Baonghean.vn)- As reported, My Ly commune is the most affected and damaged commune in Ky Son district. Up to now, there are still 2 villages isolated by floodwaters.

Xop Duong and Cha Nga villages were isolated by floodwaters. There is currently no information on damage and access to these two villages is not yet possible.

According to Mr. Kha Van Nghe, Secretary of the Party Committee of My Ly commune, according to incomplete statistics at 11:00 a.m. on August 20, the damage caused by the impact of storm No. 3, rising water has flooded 16 houses, of which 11 houses were completely submerged, swept away 3 houses and 4 trucks, hundreds of cubic meters of wood of forestry companies. The most damaged are the villages of Xang Tren, Yen Hoa, Xieng Tam, and Xop Tu.

In addition, there are currently two villages completely cut off and isolated by floodwaters. Currently, the functional forces and local authorities have not been able to access and contact these two villages, which are the border villages of Xop Duong and Cha Nga.

Currently, the Command Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control and Search and Rescue of Ky Son district has assigned working groups to continue to approach heavily damaged areas to grasp the situation, count the damage and encourage households affected by floods.
