At about 2:00 a.m. on January 15, on National Highway 1A, passing through Dien Yen commune, Dien Chau district (Nghe An),A car with license plate 37A – 256.22 was traveling from South to North when it reached Yen Ly overpass and suddenly crashed into a taxi that was stopped on the bridge. The car continued to crash into the iron door of a restaurant right on the side of the road before stopping.

The accident crushed the front of the car, damaged the side of the taxi, and damaged some of the family's belongings inside the iron door.
