Mr. Tran Chau Thanh - Head of Inspection and Legal Department, Department of Fisheries said: Recently, the frequency of violations in near-shore fishing by fishermen in Dien Chau district has increased. Based on the report,Fisheries Surveillance Forcecontinuously checked and reminded but fishermen did not comply. The ships werepunishis due to the act of cutting fishing gear and running away when requested for inspection and presentation of documents.
