Nghi Loc has new Chairman and Vice Chairman of District People's Committee

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of April 4, the People's Council of Nghi Loc district, term XVIII, held the 13th session (extraordinary session) to carry out a number of contents related to the completion of a number of key positions of the district People's Committee for the 2011-2016 term.

Comrades: Le Van Khang, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee, Phan Sy Duong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the District Party Committee and standing members of the Nghi Loc District Party Committee attended and directed the meeting.

The meeting reviewed and gave opinions on two submissions of the District People's Committee on the proposal to elect additional positions of Chairman and Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee after Mr. Le Van Khang - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Committee was transferred by the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee to take up a position at the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee.

The meeting voted and passed the Resolution confirming the results of the additional election of comrade Nguyen Tien Dung - Vice Chairman of Nghi Loc District People's Committee to hold the position of Chairman of the District People's Committee for the 2011-2016 term; voted and passed the Resolution confirming the results of the additional election of comrade Nguyen Duc Tho - Former Head of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Nghi Loc District, who was promoted to be Chairman of Nghi Xa Commune People's Committee to hold the position of Vice Chairman of Nghi Loc District People's Committee for the 2011-2016 term.

Also at the 13th session, the Standing Committee of Nghi Loc District People's Council also deployed 5 key immediate tasks to successfully conduct the election of National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2016-2021 term.
