Negative suspicions in the match between U19 HAGL and Phu Yen
Disciplinary Board of Vietnam Football Federation (VFF)signed a document to temporarily suspend Quoc Viet after the match between Phu Yen and HAGL in the 2021 National U19 qualifying round at Ham Rong Stadium on January 28. VFF quickly intervened and made a decision a day later.
Head of the VFF Disciplinary Committee Vu Xuan Thanh said: "The nature of Phu Yen team's matches is very complicated, the players' performance was clear so we decided to temporarily suspend them. VFF must set up a professional council to review the correct procedure."

A VFF official assessed that these phenomena often appear in youth tournaments. "If there is negative evidence, we will transfer it to the authorities to investigate and clarify, limiting bad elements in youth football," he said.
Specifically, according to the match supervisor's report, Phu Yen team coach said that captain Quoc Viet had many situations where he did not compete for the ball, "let go" of it, and did not play to his full potential. This was shown in several matches, not just the loss to U19 HAGL.
In this match, Phu Yen team lost 0-5 to the young players of HAGL 1. Notably, this match did not have any penalty cards. One goal of HAGL 1 was scored in the first half, the remaining four goals were scored in the second half. Quoc Viet will not be allowed to play from January 29. The professional council consisting of coaches and experts will "dissect" the videotape of the match.
Phu Yen U19 team participating in the 2021 qualifying round is led by coach Nguyen Hoang Dong. The young representative of Phu Yen football is ranked second to last in Group D with 7 points, more than U19 Ho Chi Minh City who has no points. U19 HAGL 1 is ranked second with 18 points, 2 points behind the leading team Quang Nam after 8 matches.
Many matches in V.League were postponed due to the epidemic.
The match betweenHai Phong Club- Hanoi cannot take place as scheduled (January 30) due to new developments of the Covid-19 epidemic. Because Hai Phong has just had more cases of SARS-CoV-2 infection in the community, the tournament management unit is forced to make an appropriate decision.
Hanoi FC also canceled their plans to travel to Hai Phong to prepare for the third round match. Previously, VPF sent a document announcing the postponement of the Quang Ninh - Ho Chi Minh City match on January 31. Another match of the third round that could not take place on schedule was the match between Da Nang FC and Ha Tinh.
Most recently, the home team Viettel also requested to postpone the match between the two teams on January 31 and was supported by Binh Duong Club as well as the tournament organizers.
Thus, round 3 of V.League 2021 will only have three matches including Thanh Hoa vs. Nam Dinh,Saigon FC vs SLNA,and HAGL vs Binh Dinh. Of which, the two matches at Thanh Hoa and Thong Nhat stadiums will not be open to spectators. The match at Pleiku stadium is awaiting a decision from local authorities.

Football Italia revealed that Ronaldo spent two days with his girlfriend and children in Courmayeur, where he celebrated her birthday last year, in a now-closed hotel. Previously, the player was not on the list of players registered for Juventus' 4-0 win over SPAL in the National Cup on January 28 (Hanoi time).
This is not the first time Ronaldo has been investigated for breaking quarantine rules amid the complicated developments of the Covid-19 epidemic. In October 2020, he was heavily criticized by Italian Sports Minister Vincenzo Spadafora for flying from Portugal to Italy without permission despite being infected with the coronavirus.
The former Real Madrid striker is still Juventus' top scorer this season despite turning 36. He has played 21 matches in all competitions, scoring 20 goals and providing 3 assists. Of which, CR7 has 15 goals after 15 matches in Serie A. However, the Allianz Stadium team is facing the risk of not being able to defend the championship due to the stable performance of AC Milan and Inter Milan.
