Suspected resurrection of a hundred-year-old Buddhist Lama
Images of what is believed to be the 90-year-old mummy of Lama Dashi-Dorzho Itigilov walking around a monastery in Siberia have sparked controversy and suspicion.

Lama Damba Ayusheev, president of the Traditional Buddhist Sangha, released photos of moving shadows on October 11.inside the Ivolginsky monastery, near the capitalUlan-Ude,The Buryat Republic of the Russian Federation in Siberia, and claims that it isThe mummy of Lama Dashi-Dorzho Itigilov was "resurrected", according to Siberian Times.
"This is not a joke, it is real," he wrote, posting the security camera image online. "I see a person in the photo who I know for sure was not in the Khambo Lama Itigilov Palace at that time. He was standing near the front door."
Lama Ayusheev also posted another photo showing a blurry figure standing next to the sofa. However, the published photos were not clear, and he did not post video from the camera.
"No video, just flash photos of people," he wrote.

Tubden Baldanov, spokesman for the association, also agreed.Ayusheev and the Lama believed thatDashi-Dorzho Itigilov got up and walked around the palace.
"Perhaps you want to say something? For example, to tell international agencies to work for common peace."
After heAyusheev posted the photo on Facebook, many people were skeptical and thought that the image was just a security guard in camouflage carrying a plastic bag.
The remains of Lama Dashi-Dorzho Itigilov (1852-1927) are world famous because, despite his death nearly 90 years ago, his body is still intact and has not decomposed. His muscles, tissues, and joints inside are still soft. His remains in a meditative posture are preserved in a special glass coffin located on the second floor of the temple. Some Buddhists believe that he is still alive and in a state of deep meditation.
