(Baonghean.vn) - The Provincial People's Committee has just issued Decision No. 1698/QD - UBND/2016 on recognizing Nghia Minh commune (Nghia Dan) as meeting New Rural standards according to the National Criteria for New Rural Areas in 2016.

Concreting rural roads in Nghia Minh commune, Nghia Dan district

After 5 years of building a new rural area, people of Nghia Minh commune, Nghia Dan district donated and cleared land to build roads reaching 57,600 m.², equivalent to 2,304 million VND. 100% of Nghia Minh commune and inter-commune roads are asphalted or concreted to meet the technical standards of the Ministry of Transport; 50% of alleys and hamlets are hardened; 70% of schools meet national standards; average income per capita reaches 18 million VND/person/year; poverty rate is 6.1%.
