Nghia Phu (Nghia Dan): Investing nearly 147 billion VND to build New Rural Areas

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of January 14, the Party Committee, government and people of Nghia Phu commune (Nghia Dan district) held a ceremony to announce and receive the Certificate of recognition for meeting New Rural standards in 2016.

Attending the event were comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Chief of the Provincial New Rural Area Coordination Office; Mr. Tran Van Mao - Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation.

Also attending were representatives of the Provincial New Rural Area Coordination Office, Nghia Dan district and Thai Hoa town.

Provincial and district delegates attended the Ceremony to receive the Certificate of recognition of achieving New Rural standards in Nghia Phu commune.

Comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Chief of the Provincial Office for New Rural Development Coordination awarded the Certificate of Recognition and a reward of 500 million VND to Nghia Phu commune.

During the 5 years of building new rural areas, the commune invested a total of 147 billion VND to implement 19/19 criteria, of which 53.130 billion VND was mobilized from the people, accounting for 43% of the total investment, the rest was supported by the superior budget and other sources.

Thanks to that, after 5 years of building the new rural area, the commune's infrastructure has been significantly improved and upgraded when the whole commune has built over 27 km of concrete and hardened roads; all hamlets have lighting systems; schools and clinics all meet national standards.... Notably, the investment sector for production development, job creation, income improvement and poverty reduction of the commune has been focused on.

In 5 years, the commune invested 56.6 billion VND to develop production models, initially bringing high efficiency, increasing people's income, and sustainably reducing poverty.Nghia Phu has reached the NTM finish line 2 years ahead of schedule.

Comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu, on behalf of the Provincial Steering Committee for New Rural Development, congratulated the results of the Party Committee, government and people of Nghia Phu commune. He hoped that the district would continue to pay attention and support the locality to continue promoting the achievements, continue to maintain and promote the 19 criteria in building new rural areas.

On this occasion, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee decided to award Certificates of Recognition, New Rural Finishing Prizes and Certificates of Merit to collectives and individuals with achievements in the New Rural Construction Movement of Nghia Phu commune.

Comrade Vi Van Dinh - Secretary of Nghia Dan District Party Committee and Comrade Le Hong Son - Chairman of Nghia Dan District People's Committee presented congratulatory flowers and awarded the 100 million VND NTM finish line prize to Nghia Phu commune.

On this occasion, the Chairman of Nghia Dan District People's Committee also announced the decision to reward 100 million VND to the commune that reached the NTM finish line and reward collectives and individuals with achievements in mobilizing Nghia Phu people in the movement to join hands in building NTM.
