Specifically, the pho restaurant is designed with two rows of tables placed parallel to each other, between the two rows of tables there is a wooden runway, about 1 meter above the ground, the width of the runway is about 40cm. This is the track for the machine to carry delicious, hot bowls of pho automatically from the kitchen to the table of the customer who ordered it before, then stop for the customer to bring the pho back to the table to eat.

Ms. Truong Thi Huong, manager of the above pho restaurant, said that she used to work in construction but because she loves cooking, she and a few friends in the same industry decided to open this restaurant.

A friend in the group witnessed the vending model in Europe, so she and her friends wanted to apply that advanced technology to sales. The vending pho restaurant model was conceived and designed. Initially, the restaurant encountered many difficulties. Her group had to explore and consult many places but eventually succeeded. For more than a month now, the pho restaurant has started applying this new model.

"To be honest, when the restaurant first opened, customers were hesitant to come in to eat because they saw that the restaurant was clean and luxurious, and they were afraid of the price. But then out of curiosity, they decided to try it, willing to pay hundreds of thousands for a bowl of pho to experience it. However, when they finished eating, they only spent 30,000 VND/bowl, so many people were very satisfied. Now, many people who come to eat are regular customers," Ms. Huong shared.

"Thanks to the automatic sales model, I can also reduce labor costs; at the same time, manage the amount of pho sold more easily," said Ms. Huong.

According to Ms. Huong, someone wanted to offer her the copyright of this pho restaurant for 15,000 USD, but she has not agreed.

Mr. NT Lam, a customer who had the opportunity to visit the above special pho restaurant, said that a few days ago, he stopped at a pho restaurant in Nguyen Thai Hoc ward (Yen Bai). At that time, he just wanted to eat a bowl of pho with clear chicken thigh broth without MSG and a few noodles, then he was surprised to see the restaurant owner holding an iPad to order.

A moment later, he saw 2 bowls of pho slowly running from the kitchen to his table and then stopping. It turned out that the order was made on iPad 1, the second iPad in the kitchen received the information and then proceeded to make the order. The small machine that brought the bowls of pho to the right table for the customers was connected by bluetooth to the iPad in the kitchen.

Accordingly, just put the bowl of pho on the machine, press the ipad in the kitchen and the machine will automatically run to the customer's numbered table.

"The machine can carry 3 bowls of pho. If 4 people come to eat, the 4th bowl will be brought out hot by the "machine" powered by rice with two hands. Everything is very clean," Mr. Lam shared.

Another diner commented: "My first impression when I came here to eat was that the service style was very different and new. Second, I found the pho broth here very delicious."

Many people who come to the restaurant are also very excited, thinking that this is a new experience compared to other regular restaurants. The food is clean, the taste is suitable. Many customers from all over when coming to Yen Bai also stop by this pho restaurant, even customers from the South because of the "unique taste and service of the restaurant".
