(Baonghean.vn) - Information from the Traffic Police Department's Traffic Handling Team of Nghe An Province Police said that on the first day of putting the camera system to monitor and handle traffic safety violations in the province into operation, 310 violations were detected.
After nearly 7 months of operation, from the initial 8 public service groups at the time of opening, when integrating 6 more public services tomorrow, the National Public Service Portal has 725 public services provided to people and businesses.
"The National Public Service Portal has been initially well received by users and has effectively served the people and businesses. If we only count the essential public services integrated from July 1, it could help save social costs of about VND1,686 billion/year," said Minister and Head of the Government Office Mai Tien Dung.
The common point of the 6 public services to be put on the National Public Service Portal in the near future is the focus on electronic payments. Minister Mai Tien Dung emphasized the promotion of electronic payments, especially when the COVID-19 pandemic brings great challenges but also opportunities to promote digital transformation, e-commerce, and online payments.
Since its launch on December 9, 2019, the National Public Service Portal has integrated with 18 ministries, branches, 63/63 localities, 12 corporations, general companies, banks, and payment intermediaries. It has received and processed more than 6,600 complaints, recommendations, and supported and answered more than 14,800 calls to the switchboard.
As of June 28, there were more than 178,000 registered accounts; more than 46.3 million visits to find information and perform services; more than 10.5 million records synchronized status to serve the purpose of looking up, monitoring, supervising, and evaluating the process of handling administrative procedures; more than 151,000 records processed online from the National Public Service Portal, including 889 records of employers requesting support for loans or support for employees temporarily suspending work or taking unpaid leave due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In addition, although the online payment system for financial obligations in performing administrative procedures and public services of the National Public Service Portal was only put into operation in March 2020, after 3 months of implementation, it has integrated and provided online payment services with 6 ministries, branches and 31/63 provinces and centrally run cities and has had more than 2,100 successful transactions.
Through the National Public Service Portal account, businesses can carry out procedures at all ministries, branches, and localities and make online payments for related financial obligations. Along with promoting implementation entirely in the electronic environment, the great advantage of submitting documents or performing administrative procedures through the National Public Service Portal is to create an additional channel to monitor implementation, ensuring transparency. The settlement process is informed to businesses, at the same time, the Government Office also accompanies, urges, monitors and promptly corrects problems and difficulties in settlement./.
