At 12:30 p.m., December 24, at position 18047'N - 106028'E (about 42 nautical miles east of Cua Hoi), the vessel with registration number NA 90099 TS, captained by Mr. Le Van Ky, born in 1970, residing in Nghi Hai ward, Cua Lo town, Nghe An, was fishing when a crew member fell into the sea.

The victim was Mr. Nguyen Duy Phuong, born in 1978, residing in Nghi Hoa ward, Cua Lo town, Nghe An.
The cause was determined to be due to carelessness, slipping and falling into the sea.
