Elderly people in Cua Lo town enthusiastically participate in the contest "Live happily - Live healthily"

On the morning of May 10, the Department of Population coordinated with the Provincial Association of the Elderly, the Population Center and the Association of the Elderly of Cua Lo town to organize the 2019 "Live happily - live healthily" contest for the elderly.

This is the first time the "Live happily - live healthily" Senior Citizens Contest has been organized with many interesting contents such as greeting contest, knowledge contest with the theme "Live healthily", talent contest with the theme "Live happily".
In these competitions, teams from Nghi Huong, Nghi Hai and Nghi Hoa wards brought to the competition many elaborate performances, expressing the colors of life and culture of coastal residents.

In the talent competition, the teams had meaningful skits to convey the messages "Elderly people live happily, healthily, and usefully"; reflecting good practices, creative and effective models in Population - Family Planning work.

The contest contributes to raising the understanding of leaders and people about the policies and laws of the Party and State for the elderly; the role and contribution of the elderly in all aspects of life; the responsibility of individuals, families and society in improving the physical and mental health of the elderly.
At the end of the competition, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize to Nghi Hai ward team, the second prize to Nghi Huong ward team and the third prize to Nghi Hoa ward.
