(Baonghean.vn) - Two weeks after the incident of blocking a worker transport vehicle in Nghi Xa commune (Nghi Loc), the People's Committee of Nghi Loc district has just organized a working session with relevant parties to make people fully aware of their illegal behavior.

Attending the meeting were representatives of BSE Electronics Company Limited, vehicle owners, representatives of the Party Committee and People's Committee of Nghi Xa commune, the executive committee of 3 hamlets: 8, 9, 11 and subjects with extremist behavior, causing public disorder previously detained by the Investigation Agency of Nghi Loc District Police.

Security and order in hamlet 11, Nghi Xa commune has been stabilized again.

At the beginning of the working session, the representative of Nghi Loc District Police once again affirmed: The act of blocking a car carrying workers, threatening and scolding the vehicle owner and workers, and opposing the officers on duty by the people of 3 hamlets: 8, 9, 11 in Nghi Xa commune, Nghi Loc district is a violation of the law. This act has directly violated the public order, violated civilized lifestyle, rules of life, affected normal activities in public places, caused insecurity and disorder, and stalled production in the industrial park.

Nghi Loc District Police have arrested 5 subjects for their extremist behavior; temporarily detained 3 subjects for investigation. At the same time, they are coordinating with relevant parties to clarify that the owners of the vehicles transporting workers were contracted by the workers themselves. Currently, these subjects have been released on bail by the district police and the police are continuing to investigate to clarify the matter.

At the meeting, a representative of BSE Electronics Co., Ltd. said that the incident of blocking a vehicle carrying workers had seriously affected the company's production activities. In addition, the behavior of the households had caused panic and anxiety among the workers. However, the company also hoped that through this incident, the government and the people would learn a profound lesson.

BSE Electronics Company Limited also requested local authorities at all levels and people to create favorable conditions for the company to operate stably and for workers to go to work, thereby contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality.

The vehicle owners and workers said they did not ask for compensation for the damage caused by the people because in this incident, the people did not fully understand the law and therefore acted excessively. A representative of a vehicle owner said they wanted to continue operating to create favorable conditions for workers to go to work. In the coming time, the vehicle owners pledged to operate in accordance with the law, not cause traffic jams, and ensure the environment.

Representative of BSE Electronics Company Limited proposed that local authorities and people create favorable conditions for the company to operate stably.

Up to now, all the people, especially those who acted violently on June 22, have realized that blocking vehicles, beating drivers, and preventing workers from entering work is a violation of the law. According to the people, the reason for the above behavior is only due to frustration due to the fact that the rented rooms are empty, and people's lives are facing many difficulties due to the confiscation of their production land.

Mr. Nguyen Duy Que, hamlet 11, Nghi Xa commune said: "Because I did not fully understand the provisions of the law, I committed illegal acts, affecting the company's production activities as well as the social security and order situation. I just hope that the authorities will consider and reduce the penalty so that I have a chance to correct and overcome it."

Regarding the notice requiring vehicle owners to immediately stop transporting workers on June 10, Mr. Tran Dinh Phuoc, head of hamlet 8, Nghi Xa commune (Nghi Loc) admitted:

"Signing that notice was wrong and, moreover, blocking the vehicle transporting workers is a violation of the law. After being informed and explained by the government and relevant agencies, people have understood. Due to people's limited awareness and understanding of the law, we hope that the relevant agencies will reduce the punishment for those who commit extreme acts.

Through this incident, I personally, as the hamlet chief, would like to take responsibility and learn from my mistakes for not promptly propagating and preventing wrongdoings."

Agreeing with the opinions of the hamlet chiefs and the extremists, Mr. Phung Manh Hong, Chairman of Nghi Xa Commune People's Committee, said that the people of hamlets 8, 9, and 11 had 100% of their production land confiscated and had not received adequate attention to vocational training and job creation, leading to many difficulties in life. Therefore, he requested that BSE Electronics Company Limited create conditions for local children to work in the company.

In addition, businesses should also create more solidarity and cohesion with the locality to ensure the harmony of interests of all parties. In addition, authorities at all levels need to focus on providing solutions to remove difficulties and obstacles for the people so that they can have conditions to develop their own economy.
