The accident occurred at 4:30 p.m. on December 23 on National Highway 48, in Tuan hamlet, Quynh Chau commune, Quynh Luu district.
At that time, a man about 50 years old was driving a motorbike with license plate 37L2 - 05799 from Highway 215 to Highway 48. When he just reached the intersection, he was suddenly hit from behind by a passenger bus with license plate 37B - 005.73 traveling from Nghia Dan - Vinh.
The motorbike flew into the roadside, the motorcyclist was seriously injured and was taken to the emergency room.
