Man dies under unusual circumstances in irrigation ditch

On the evening of April 15, Mr. Le Van Tang - Police of Quynh Yen commune, Quynh Luu district said that the commune had just discovered the body of a man in an irrigation canal and the victim's family had taken him home for burial without an autopsy.

The victim, Mr. Vu Van Phong (born in 1974, residing in hamlet 11, Quynh Hung commune, Quynh Luu district), was discovered by local people at 11:00 a.m. the same day and reported to the authorities.

After arriving at the scene, the commune police clarified the identity, then the victim's relatives asked not to perform an autopsy and took the body home for burial.
