Mr. Vo Huy Thanh - Deputy DirectorVinh International Airportsaid: Currently, there are 4 airlines operating flights to and from Vinh, including: Vietnam Airlines, Bamboo, Vietjet, Jetstar. After the Covid-19 epidemic subsided, many flights from Vinh to and from other provinces have been resumed by airlines, such as: Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Nha Trang, Da Lat, Can Tho, Phu Quoc, partly meeting the travel needs of passengers.

During the April 30 and May 1 holidays, there are an average of 42 flights to and from Vinh each day. On May 3 (the last day of the holiday), the number of flights to and from Vinh increased to 50. It is estimated that during this holiday, Vinh Airport will serve more than 15,000 passengers.
According to Mr. Thanh, because this holiday is short, the number of tourists has not increased dramatically. Hopefully, in the summer, when students and workers in the education sector have a long holiday and the demand for travel increases, the frequency of flights and routes will increase even more./.
