That was the opinion reflected at the dialogue between the Chairman of the People's Committee and the Chairman of the People's Council of Quynh Di ward, Hoang Mai town on the morning of June 19 according to the policy agreed upon by the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to coordinate in implementing the pilot.

In the spirit of democracy and frankness, dozens of issues related to the direction, management and operation of local authorities have been raised by the people and requested that the authorities respond and provide answers.

Mr. Ho Sy Truong (Yen Trung block) reflected: Recently, through the introduction of the ward People's Committee to a number of organizations and individuals to the blocks selling household electrical appliances such as rice cookers, light bulbs, multi-function blenders... People believe that the government should have households spend millions of dong to buy but the quality of the products is not guaranteed. Questioning the Chairman of the People's Council and Chairman of the People's Committee of the ward, Mr. Nguyen Van Huyen (Sy Tan block) raised the issue: The administrative center of Hoang Mai town is located in Quynh Di ward with the area of ​​land recovered for construction accounting for 70% of the total area of ​​the ward. Therefore, finding jobs is an urgent issue.

However, the recruitment information of some enterprises in the area is too short, the morning announcement, then in the afternoon or 1 day later, when people complete the application and send it to the enterprise, the quota is full. Mr. Huyen questioned: Are the commune officials not accepting or is there a problem here?

Mr. Tran Van Le, Phu Loi 2 block, questioned the government to clarify why the support mechanism for building a cultural house is 50 million VND/block, but for Phu Loi 2 block, the cultural house has been inaugurated and put into use but the commune still has 10 million VND that has not been allocated to the block? At the same time, he requested the government to pay attention to upgrading the commune's loudspeaker system, currently due to low poles and inappropriate arrangement, people cannot hear and grasp information from the commune.

Based on the people's petitions, reflections, and requests for the government to explain and clarify; Mr. Van Huy Thang - Chairman of the Ward People's Committee responded to each opinion raised by the people. Mr. Van Huy Thang affirmed that after this dialogue, the ward will have a plan to allocate resources to fix the broadcasting system and repay the debt for supporting the construction of a cultural house for Phu Loi 2 block.

Regarding the introduction of organizations and individuals to sell goods in the blocks, the Chairman of the Ward People's Committee said that, starting from the introduction from the town, the ward introduced and the hamlets. However, through grasping public opinion, the ward has grasped the information and has reflected to the town to gain experience in this matter.

Responding to people's opinions on how to handle some households illegally building houses on agricultural land and encroaching on traffic corridors, Chairman Van Huy Thang informed that out of 13 households illegally building houses, 11 cases have been handled, currently 2 cases are still being mobilized and if they do not comply, enforcement will be carried out.

The Chairman of the Ward People's Committee also directly explained many issues raised by the people related to planning work, implementation of planning in the ward; plan to repair the canal system, especially the drainage system due to the construction of traffic routes causing congestion and blocking the flow; recovery, compensation and resettlement work; slow return of the power grid to the people; career conversion; raising the sense of responsibility of local authorities in managing and operating a number of local political tasks.

Assessing the experience gained after the dialogue, in addition to acknowledging that the dialogue met the spirit of dialogue, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee also requested the Quynh Di ward government in responding to specifically address each issue raised by the people; what is under the authority and responsibility of the grassroots, what can be done, what cannot be done, and the time required to resolve it must be clearly defined.
