(Baonghean.vn) – Contrary to her graceful and gentle appearance on stage, in real life, Dinh Thi Kieu Anh – the contestant who won the crown of Miss Lotus Village Festival 2016 is a girl… good at martial arts, with the dream of becoming a policewoman.

Sharing after the coronation night of the highest position of the Miss Lotus Festival 2016 contest, Dinh Thi Kieu Anh said she felt surprised and happy with the result.

“I joined the contest with the desire to test myself and make new friends. I myself am not a perfect person, I still have many shortcomings, so through the contest, I want to learn more experiences and behavioral lessons to improve myself.”

Dinh Thi Kieu Anh was radiant with the highest position at the Miss Lotus Festival contest in 2016.

2016 is a year that marks many memories for Kieu Anh, because in March 2016, she won the highest position at the Miss Vac Village Festival contest, and recently, in May 2016, she continued to be crowned Miss Sen Village Festival.

However, few people know that, to enter beauty contests, Kieu Anh had to overcome a rather large "barrier" from her family. The beauty queen shared that her family lives quite simply so they do not like their children to participate in superficial activities, especially beauty contests, because they are afraid that public feedback will distract them from their studies.

However, with the enthusiasm of the Thai Hoa Town cultural sector, along with the promise from their daughter that "studying will still be the most important thing", Kieu Anh's family finally agreed and became a strong support for her in the competitions.

In real life, Dinh Thi Kieu Anh is a gentle, friendly, and smiling schoolgirl. However, behind that cheerful appearance is a sensitive soul. Unlike her peers, Kieu Anh currently lives with her grandmother and aunt in Thai Hoa Town due to her parents having to live and work in Hanoi frequently.

Kieu Anh’s childhood was filled with memories in the capital. When she was 12 years old, her parents decided to send her to Thai Hoa Town to study because they believed that the peaceful environment in the countryside would be better for her development. Living far away from her parents, although she still received care and attention from relatives, Kieu Anh confided, “I still feel sad and miss them. Sometimes on the street, I see friends going out with their families. At night, I feel sad…”

Ngoài đời, Kiều Anh là cô bé nữ sinh hiền lành, nhí nhảnh.
In real life, Kieu Anh is a gentle, playful schoolgirl, loved by teachers and friends.

Although she was a little sad when sharing, Miss Sen Village Festival 2016 smiled very friendly when asked about her hobbies. Kieu Anh surprised us when she revealed that besides reading and cooking, her greatest passion is martial arts!

“I have been learning tekwondo for about a year. Many people say that girls who learn martial arts are afraid that they will become stiff and rough, but I think martial arts helps me to be more confident, improve my health and live a more courageous life. On the other hand, martial arts also helps me get closer to my dream of becoming a policewoman in the future,” Kieu Anh shared.

At this time, Kieu Anh is urgently studying and preparing for an important exam. With the goal of taking the entrance exam to the People's Police Academy, I wish the Lotus Village Festival Beauty confidence and success on the path she has chosen!
