Although the village is inhabited by 100% Mong people, far from the commune center, the preparation work for the election of the 14th National Assembly and the election of People's Councils at all levels for the 2016-2021 term has been carefully prepared by the village's election team, from posting the list of voters and candidates to the propaganda and mobilization stage so that the people in the village have time to learn and choose.

Huoi Co village chief Va Khua Do said: When there was a plan from above for the election, the village fully implemented all contents related to the election, such as propaganda and mobilization about the purpose and meaning of the election were implemented early, so all people in the village clearly understood the regulations and procedures of the election as well as the rights and obligations of citizens in the election.

The election team and the village management board also went to the households with farms far away to propagate the Election Law and the responsibilities of citizens so that on election day, all voters were present in the village to participate in the election.

At the same time, Nhon Mai Border Guard Station also coordinated with the Village Management Board to propagate to 42 households in the village about the Law on Election of the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels, as well as the responsibilities and obligations of voters in the election.
