Woman in close contact with Covid-19 patient but did not declare

(Baonghean.vn) - When discovering that a relative had Covid-19, despite being in close contact, Ms. Nghia did not promptly make a medical declaration. The Commune Police Department has decided to impose an administrative fine of 7.5 million VND on this case.

The case being punished is Tran Thi Nghia (born in 1982, in village 6, Quynh Giang commune), is F1 and had close contact with the Covid-19 patient HTY in village 6, Quynh Giang commune, which was announced earlier.

Senior Lieutenant Nguyen Van Tai - Chief of Quynh Giang Commune Police said: After discovering patient HTY residing in village 6 infected withCovid – 19,The District Police tracing team and the Quynh Giang Commune Police Department coordinated to investigate and trace related F1s. However, in the case of Tran Thi Nghia, although she knew she had been in contact with the patient, she did not make an honest medical declaration.

Two days later (afternoon of July 29), this case had symptoms of cough, fever, and difficulty breathing, so he went to the Commune Health Station to make a medical declaration. Upon receiving the information, the Commune Police Department reported to the Covid-19 Prevention and Control Steering Committee of Quynh Giang Commune and the District Police Tracing Team, and then took this case to a centralized quarantine area and took samples for testing that same night (July 29).

Even though she had to be quarantined, Ms. Nghia was still fined 7.5 million VND.
