People donated 500 million VND to Van Ha village to build new rural areas

((Baonghean.vn) - Responding to the policy of building new rural roads, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Sinh, who was born and raised in Van Ha village, Quang Son commune, Do Luong, donated nearly 500 million VND for people to build fences.

Do Luong District People's Committee visited Mr. Nguyen Dinh Sinh's family to present a certificate of merit to individuals with outstanding contributions to the new rural construction movement.

The road in hamlet 10 of Van Ha village is inherently narrow, and most of the people on both sides of the road have built solid brick walls. Widening it to meet the new rural road standards is very difficult. Faced with this situation, with the heart of a son of the village who is now successful in business, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Sinh mobilized the people to demolish all the fences and widen each side of the road by 1 meter. Mr. Sinh donated all the materials to rebuild the fences such as stones, bricks, sand, and cement to the people. For families who do not have brick fences, he donated money to build new ones, with the aim of beautifying the village and the neighborhood.

People of hamlet 10, Van Ha village (Do Luong) widened the road and rebuilt the fence with money donated by Mr. Nguyen Dinh Sinh.

After a period of launching, up to now the entire 1.5km road of Hamlet 10, Van Ha village has been expanded. People have donated land to rebuild the fence. The total amount of money that Mr. Nguyen Dinh Sinh donated to the people for construction is nearly 500 million VND.

In response to Mr. Nguyen Dinh Sinh's generosity, on December 18, 2015, the People's Committee of Do Luong district visited Mr. Nguyen Dinh Sinh's family to award a certificate of merit to the individual with outstanding contributions to the new rural construction movement.
