Nghe An Guest House will convert to a joint stock model

(Baonghean.vn) - According to the Government's roadmap, it is expected that by the end of 2017, Nghe An Guest House will be transformed from a public administrative service unit model to a joint stock model. That is the information of the representative of Nghe An Guest House's leadership at the working session with the Provincial People's Council's Supervisory Delegation.

Nghe An Guest House is a self-funded public service unit under the Provincial People's Committee Office, covering all expenses and fulfilling obligations to the State budget.

Since 2014, Nghe An Guest House has been completely autonomous, on that basis, it annually determines the unit's plan to well perform the political tasks assigned by the province.

At the same time, based on the production and business situation as well as the needs of customers, Nghe An Guest House plans to recruit, use and manage employees. By 2016, the number of employees at the unit was 122 people.

Implementing complete financial autonomy, Nghe An Guest House makes a profit every year, with revenue higher year after year, fulfilling its obligations to the State.

At the working session with the Provincial People's Council's Supervisory Delegation, Nghe An Guest House proposed: The facilities and equipment of the rooms and conference halls are degraded and do not meet the requirements of serving customers as well as cannot compete with other businesses in the same field in the market. The technical expertise, communication style, understanding and grasp of customer psychology and needs of some officers and employees are still limited.

According to the representative of Nghe An Guest House, the unit received the Government's equitization policy and the directive document of the Provincial People's Committee. It is expected that according to the Government's roadmap, by the end of 2017, Nghe An Guest House will convert to the equitization model.

What Nghe An Guest House is concerned about is the job creation and benefits for the unit's employees when switching to the new model.

Concluding the working session, comrade Thai Thi An Chung - Deputy Head of the Legal Committee of the Provincial People's Council acknowledged and highly appreciated the implementation of complete autonomy of Nghe An Guest House to serve the political tasks of the province.

Sharing the unit's difficulties, comrade Thai Thi An Chung hopes that the Board of Directors of Nghe An Guest House needs to do a good job of ideological work and stabilize the workers' psychology.

Regarding cadres and employees after implementing the equitization model conversion, the Provincial People's Council Supervisory Delegation requested the Department of Home Affairs to pay attention to providing guidance to ensure the rights of the unit's employees.
