Nghi Cong Bac people contribute 530 million VND to build new rural roads

(Baonghean.vn) - Nghi Cong Bac is the most disadvantaged commune of Nghi Loc district. In the competition to build new rural areas, the people of hamlet 10 Nghi Cong Bac contributed 530 million VND to build roads.

With the motto of the state and the people working together, this time, the people of hamlet 10, Nghi Cong Bac commune, contributed 530 million VND and hundreds of working days, simultaneously starting to build rural roads. To ensure a 4 meter wide road surface, poured concrete 20 - 25 cm high, with a length of nearly 2 km, each person contributed from 2 to 2.5 million VND.

After the launch, the people of Hamlet 10, Nghi Cong Bac Commune, have poured concrete for nearly 2km of internal village roads, with a total cost of over 530 million VND contributed by the people. It is known that this is the hamlet chosen by the Commune People's Committee as a model to replicate throughout the commune.

Also with hamlet 10, on this occasion, Nghi Cong Bac commune is focusing on completing 2 km of asphalt road and is urging the contractor to speed up the progress to complete 6 preschool classrooms and other items, striving to complete the plan by the end of 2017.

According to the new rural construction plan, in 2017, this locality will implement 2 criteria: schools and environment. In order to speed up the progress, since the beginning of the year, Nghi Cong Bac commune has mobilized all resources to invest over 15 billion VND to build items such as: building 6 standard kindergarten classrooms; 2km of asphalt road; 2km of concrete canal and communal stadium. Of which, 70% of the provincial budget, the remaining 30% of the local budget./.
