Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Minh Son, Chief of Office of Nghe An Border Guard, presented gifts to support two disadvantaged, excellent students in the border commune of Keng Du, Ky Son district. |
On this occasion, the Office of the Provincial Border Guard Command adopted two children: Xeo Van Di, a third grader at Keng Du 1 Primary School whose father died early and is currently living with his mother in a very difficult and deprived situation. The second child is Lo Thi Yen, an eighth grader at Keng Du Secondary School whose family is poor and whose parents are separated. However, both children have the will to overcome difficulties and study well.
Every month, officers and soldiers of the Provincial Border Guard Command Office donate and support each child with 500,000 VND so that they can study well. This is a very meaningful activity of the unit's officers and soldiers for the children before the new school year.
