Get back motorbike stolen 4 years ago after thief caused accident and ran away

(Baonghean.vn) -Vinh City Police have just handed over a motorbike stolen 4 years ago to its owner, Mr. Nguyen Duc Hai (residing in Cua Lo Town).

On November 21, the Traffic Police Team - Vinh City Police handed over a Yamaha motorbike to Mr. Nguyen Duc Hai (56 years old, residing in Block 5, Nghi Tan Ward, Cua Lo Town) that was stolen 4 years ago.

Mr. Hai said that in mid-June 2013, he left his newly purchased Yamaha motorbike in the yard when unfortunately the lock was broken and the motorbike was stolen. Although he reported it to the local police, for many years he has not received any information about the stolen motorbike.

Early afternoon on November 8, Ms. Duong Thi Khanh (54 years old, residing in Hung Chinh commune, Vinh city) was walking on National Highway 46 through Hung Chinh commune (Hung Nguyen) when she was suddenly hit from behind by a motorbike with license plate number: 37M1 - 076.77 driven by a young man.

After causing the accident, this young man quickly took the victim to the emergency room and then fled.

Upon receiving the report, the police detained the motorbike and searched for the driver who caused the accident but to no avail.

When looking up and verifying this motorbike, it was discovered that the owner was Mr. Hai, and that it had been stolen by a thief 4 years ago.
