Nghe An Photography meets to celebrate 63rd anniversary of establishment

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of March 13, the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists in Nghe An, the Art Photography Board of the Nghe An Literature and Arts Association, and the Nghe An Current Events - Art Photography Club held a traditional meeting to celebrate the 63rd anniversary of Uncle Ho signing the Decree establishing the state-owned film and photography industry in Vietnam (March 15, 1953 - March 15, 2016).

Also attending the meeting were Journalist - Photographer Vu Quoc Khanh - Chairman of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists, representatives of relevant departments and all members of the Nghe An Photography Association.

After reviewing the traditions of the Vietnamese and Nghe An photography industry, reporting on the results of photography activities in 2015, the Organizing Committee deployed the 2016 action plan, launching a contest and exhibition of current affairs and art photos with the theme "Nghe An innovation and integration".

This is an activity to celebrate the 126th anniversary of Uncle Ho's birthday and the election of the 14th National Assembly and People's Councils at 3 levels on May 22, 2016.

Chairman of the Vietnam Association of Journalists Vu Quoc Khanh awarded a certificate of merit to journalist Ho Sy Minh - Nghe An Newspaper.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists Vu Quoc Khanh acknowledged and praised the achievements of Nghe An photography over the past year. These include winning Gold Medals, Silver Medals, and Team Awards at the Art Photography Festival of 6 North Central Provinces, having many authors win awards and have their photos exhibited at national and international competitions. Organizing many practical and effective photo composition, competition and exhibition activities, contributing to promoting the Vietnamese photography movement.
