In Tuong Duong district, the district Department of Education and Training also issued an urgent dispatch requesting schools to proactively let students stay home from Monday until the weather stabilizes and safety conditions return.
The Department also requires schools that organize boarding and semi-boarding programs to notify students (who have returned home on weekends) not to leave school/class during dangerous times. For students who are staying at school, the school must organize student management, absolutely not allow students to leave the school, and organize cooking to ensure students' safety.

In Ky Son district, the rain is not heavy but it has been continuous for many days, so the risk of landslides is high. Therefore, after discussion, Mr. Phan Van Thiet - Head of the District Education and Training Department will direct schools to close from tomorrow to ensure safety in travel.
Regarding the weather situation,Nghe An Department of Education and Trainingcontinue to issue urgent dispatches on flood and storm prevention. In particular, it is requested that units organize 24/7 duty, maintain contact, promptly notify rescue; strictly implement the instructions of the local Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue in responding to rain, floods and search and rescue.
In addition, it is necessary to focus on reviewing areas at risk of flash floods, landslides, and deep flooding during heavy rains; develop plans to ensure the safety of assets, facilities, and school buildings; proactively move machinery, teaching equipment, documents, and records to higher floors or to places without the risk of flooding to avoid damage. Create conditions for people to take shelter under permitted conditions.
Schools also need to develop flood prevention plans, based on the flood situation in the area, proactively allow students to stay home from school to ensure safety and have plans to make up for lost time to ensure knowledge for students when the flood ends.
