Many delegations visit, Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee runs out of money to receive guests

The Inspection Committee of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee has just submitted a document to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee requesting additional funding support for receiving guests.

The document of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee stated that recently, many provinces unexpectedly came to visit and exchange experiences, so "Although we tried to save money to cover the costs, due to too many delegations visiting in a short period of time, the unit did not have enough funds to receive them. Currently, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee still owes 310 million VND without any source to pay," the document stated.

In order to have conditions to complete the assigned tasks well, the Committee requests the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Hai Duong province to consider and support additional funding to help the Committee complete its tasks.

Talking to VietNamnet reporters about the content of the above document, Mr. Bui Huu Uyen, Chairman of the Inspection Committee of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee, the person who signed the document, said: According to Decree 130, Hai Duong province has allocated funds for the Inspection Committee, including only normal operating costs and salaries.

According to Mr. Uyen, the daily operating expenses are gone, there is no money left for entertaining guests.

He affirmed: This is not a shady issue, there is no embezzlement or personal gain. According to the consensus of the committee's leadership, when provinces come to visit, we will welcome them, if there is no money, we will propose to provide additional funding.

The leader of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee said that the Provincial People's Committee has not yet resolved the above request.
