Many activities to celebrate the 93rd anniversary of the Party's founding

At the Kim Lien National Special Relic Site and Chung Son Temple - the temple to worship Uncle Ho's relatives, comrade Le Duc Cuong and members of the delegation respectfully offered flowers, offerings, and incense in memory, expressing their infinite gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh - the great leader of our Party and People, the national liberation hero, an outstanding cultural celebrity, who devoted and sacrificed his whole life for the cause of national liberation, class liberation, for peace and happiness of the Vietnamese people and people around the world.

The delegation then visited the Memorial Site of the late General Secretary Le Hong Phong in Hung Thong Commune, Hung Nguyen District, to offer flowers and incense in memory and express their gratitude to the late General Secretary Le Hong Phong - an excellent student of President Ho Chi Minh, an outstanding son of his homeland Nghe An. He was a shining example, dedicating his whole life to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the People.

In a sacred and respectful atmosphere, comrade Le Duc Cuong and the members of the delegation vowed to continuously study and follow the ideology, morality and noble style of the great President Ho Chi Minh, follow the example of revolutionary morality of comrade Le Hong Phong, continue to strive to excellently complete assigned tasks, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Congress of the Party, the Resolution of the 19th Nghe An Provincial Party Congress, term 2020-2025.

On the same day, leaders of Con Cuong district offered incense and flowers to pay tribute to Mr. Vi Van Khang at the historical site of Thai Hoa village, Mon Son commune, Con Cuong district. This is where the first Party cell in the southwestern region of Nghe An was established.

In April 1931, Mon Son Party Cell was officially established with 5 party members, led by comrade Vi Van Khang as Secretary. This was the first Party Cell in the mountainous region of Nghe Tinh.

The birth of the Mon Son Party Cell marked a new development step of the revolutionary movement among ethnic minorities at that time... Even though it was brutally suppressed by the French colonialists, the movement continued to develop. The Mon Son Party Cell was the core leader of the people of Western Nghe An to seize power and return it to the people.

Comrade Vi Van Khang's house was the place where the Party cell was established, where meetings were held, leaflets were printed, where Party cadres were nurtured and protected... it is a powerful historical witness of the Party Committee and local people in the Nghe Tinh Soviet movement in 1930-1931.

To date, the relic of Mr. Vi Van Khang's house is a revolutionary address, of great significance to the local people. The annual founding day of the Party Cell has become a traditional cultural festival of the people of Mon Son, Con Cuong district.

In a solemn atmosphere, the district leaders, cadres and people respectfully offered incense and flowers to commemorate the revolutionary veterans and the first generation of party members of the Con Cuong district Party Committee and Nghe An province; vowing to continue promoting the revolutionary tradition, striving to compete to build Con Cuong district to become more and more prosperous and beautiful, worthy of being a red address to educate revolutionary traditions for generations of cadres, party members and people.
