Many activities on Vietnamese Women's Day October 20

(Baonghean.vn) - To celebrate Vietnamese Women's Day October 20, localities in the province have organized many practical activities to honor women.

Quy Hop:

On the afternoon of October 19, Quy Hop Town Primary School organized a contest for Talented and Charming Teachers to celebrate the 85th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union on October 20.

The contest was attended by 9 teachers selected from a total of 42 teachers in the whole school. The contestants went through the traditional costume performance, behavioral performance and talent performance.

Interspersed between the competitions were cultural exchanges and games between teachers and participants, making the competition more lively and attractive.

At the end of the contest, the judges awarded first prize to teacher Lu Thi Nhu Y, second prize to teacher Phan Thi Van Vui, and two third prizes to teachers Nguyen Thi Tam and Duong Thi Tuyet Mai.

In addition, the organizers also awarded additional prizes to the contestant with the most beautiful ao dai performance, the best response, the best talent and the most lovely face.

On the afternoon of October 19, the Do Luong District Labor Federation coordinated with the Committee for Progress and the District Women's Union to organize a meeting to share experiences on the proportion of women participating in leadership and management.

Attending the conference were 36 women who were members of the District Party Committee Executive Committee, heads and deputy heads of departments and unions, leaders of agencies, units, and members of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of communes.
