Many meaningful activities to help disadvantaged families
(Baonghean.vn) - On April 19, individuals, organizations and units had many practical activities to support the poor in localities.
* Quynh Luu District Labor FederationOrganized the handover of the "Union Shelter" house to teacher Tran Thi Truyen, a member of the Quynh Thanh Kindergarten Union.

Ms. Truyen is in difficult circumstances and is currently raising a young child. For many years, the family has lived in a dilapidated, run-down house, with no means to repair it. On this occasion, the District Labor Federation supported Ms. Truyen’s family with 30 million VND, taken from the Trade Union Shelter Fund, to help her family repair and upgrade the house.

Single woman's wooden house burned down in fire
(Baonghean.vn) - After only about 20 minutes, a three-room house in the Thai village of Chau Binh commune (Quy Chau, Nghe An) burned down.
As reported by Nghe An Newspaper, on the afternoon of April 18, Mrs. Thau cooked on a wood stove, then went to attend a neighbor’s family funeral, and when she returned, the house had burned down. Mrs. Thau is over 70 years old, currently living alone, her children are all married and live far away.
After receiving the news, the authorities and organizations of Chau Binh commune directed the mobilization of local forces to actively treat her family.

The delegation visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Tong Thi Hien in Dong Tam 1 block and 5 poor households in difficult circumstances in the ward; each gift was worth 500,000 VND. This is the amount Ha Thuong took from the Organizing Committee's reward after winning the title of Miss Lang Vac in 2019.
Trinh Ha Thuong was born in 2001, currently a student at Thai Hoa High School.

On this occasion, the Farmers' Association of Nghia Dan district presented a breeding cow, worth more than 10 million VND, to the family of Mr. Nguyen Nhu Dao, in Xom Doc Da, Nghia Hoi commune. Mr. Dao's family is a poor household, with 2 children with congenital diseases.
This is the contribution of the District Farmers' Association officials, aiming to support farmers in difficult circumstances to have conditions to develop the economy and escape poverty./.

* Tri Le Border Guard Station (Nghe An Border Guard coordinated with the Party Committee, government and mass organizations of Tri Le commune, Que Phong district to donate breeding pigs to poor households.

On this occasion, 10 piglets weighing from 10 to 15 kg were given to 5 disadvantaged households in Tri Le commune. These are piglets that the unit's officers and soldiers raised and cared for in accordance with the local climate and farming conditions.
It is known that in the past 4 months, the unit has given a total of 50 breeding pigs to help poor households in the area develop their economy. Currently, the number of breeding pigs that the unit has given to households are all being raised and growing well by households.
