Many pressing issues were reflected through the hotline at the 9th session of the Provincial People's Council.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the second working day of the 9th session of the 17th Provincial People's Council, term 2016 - 2021, many pressing issues continued to be reflected by voters and people through the online hotline.

Accordingly, more than 30 opinions sent by voters were in the fields of agriculture; industry and trade; transportation; construction; natural resources and environment; labor, war invalids and social affairs, health, etc.
Regarding agriculture, voter Nguyen Binh An (Thanh Yen commune, Thanh Chuong district) reported that the Luong - Yen - Khai dike project has been implemented for 1 km and has stopped construction for nearly 5 years; requested the Provincial People's Council and People's Committee to pay attention, direct the implementation, and ensure safety for people during the flood season.
Also reflecting on the project's temporary suspension of construction, voter Nguyen Canh Quynh (Thanh Hung commune, Thanh Chuong district) said that the canal construction project in Thanh Hung commune has been suspended since 2015 and has not yet resumed implementation, and requested that competent authorities allocate capital for the project to be completed soon.
Voter Phan Van Phuong (Hop Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district) requested the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to build a retaining wall under the Vach Bac drainage canal section through Do Thanh commune to ensure the flow and not relocate households because they have built solid houses in this area.
Regarding the industry and trade sector, voter Truong Van Thanh (Xa Luong commune, Tuong Duong district) reported that the Nam Non Hydropower Plant was built close to people's houses and in August 2018, the plant released floodwaters, causing landslides on 13 houses and damaging trees and gardens. People have repeatedly requested compensation and relocation of houses, but so far it has not been resolved.
Voter Nguyen Van Tien (Nghi Lien commune, Vinh city) reported that the electricity for daily life in Nghi Lien commune is managed by a cooperative and has now completed procedures to transfer it to Nghe An Electricity Company, but has not yet been received, so the electricity quality is weak; he requested the Electricity sector to soon complete the reception of the power grid.
Regarding the land issue, voter Le Van Nam (Quynh Thuan commune, Quynh Luu district) reported that a household arbitrarily leveled the ground on the sea dike to build an ice factory. Although the District People's Committee has directed the demolition, the citizen has not yet complied; he requested that the competent authority intervene to thoroughly handle this issue.
Voter Tran Doan Son (Lac Son commune, Do Luong district) reported that the authorities have not yet resolved the rights of 21 households in Lac Son commune when reclaiming land to implement the project to build a new urban residential area invested by An Thien Ly Construction and Service Company Limited.

Regarding the construction sector, voter Le Van Lan (Ha Huy Tap ward, Vinh city) reported that Tecco Apartment Building, No. 215 Le Loi, Vinh city, had many violations such as building more floors than the number of floors, adding an attic on the top floor, and building a garage outside the planning. He requested that the relevant agencies inspect and strictly handle the violations.
Regarding the policy for people with meritorious services, voter Nguyen Van Du (Block 10, Hung Nguyen town) reflected that he had completed the application for confirmation of war invalids according to Joint Circular No. 28 of the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs since 2014 but has not yet been assessed; he requested the competent authority to check and consider.
Regarding healthcare, voter Phan Van Binh (Trung Do ward, Vinh city) reflected that the facilities of Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital still have many limitations, and requested attention and investment in upgrading to improve the quality of treatment and serve the people.
The opinions of voters sent via the online telephone line were fully received by the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council and promised to be forwarded to the Provincial People's Committee, departments, branches and localities for resolution in order to respond to voters...
