From January to June every year, the water level of Ban Ve hydroelectric lake drops dozens of meters, which means that the sandbanks at the upstream of Nam Non river are exposed and the lakeside residents take advantage of that short time to make a living. |

Mr. Lo Van Lieu - Chairman of the People's Committee of My Ly commune said that the months of receding water often make it difficult for people to travel on the river. In addition, the nearby areas are often full of mud, so the fish leave to live elsewhere, so people have to go far away to make a living. |
