“With all admiration, respect and gratitude, our group discussed and agreed to restore the portraits of the 13 Truong Bon heroes and martyrs and Ms. Tran Thi Thong, the squad leader who survived the fierce bombing that year,” said Phung Quang Trung.
Also a member of “Team Lee”, Le Quyet Thang is considered the “leader” of the group, the one who always comes up with ideas and initiates meaningful activities. Each person has a job to make a living, at night Thang gathers the members of the group to carry out the color photo restoration plan together.
The old photos were more than half a century old, the faces had faded over the years, so restoring the color was not easy. Sometimes, the whole group had to stop to discuss to find the optimal solution for the photo to be restored in the most perfect way.
