Receiving information about the poor family situation of Nguyen Thanh Dat, a 12th grade student at Muong Qua High School, Con Cuong District, on October 13, the Faith Volunteer Group directly visited and supported the student with tuition fees.
Nguyen Thanh Dat was born into a poor family in Lien Son village, Luc Da commune, Con Cuong district. Dat lost his father when he was young, and his mother left when he was only 1 year old. Dat currently lives with his grandmother - the mother of martyr Nguyen Van Thanh who died on the Cambodian battlefield in 1979. Despite difficult circumstances, Dat has been a good student and an excellent student at Muong Qua High School for many years.
Dat's grandmother is 85 years old and unable to work, so he has to work to support her and earn money for his studies. In such difficult circumstances, to motivate Dat to continue to go to school and nurture his dream, the Faith Volunteer Group directly visited and gave him 20 million VND.
The local government supported the rebuilding of the dilapidated house of the grandmother and grandchild, helping them live in peace and at the same time motivating Dat to strive to study well./.
