Over 40 years of association with the Association
In block 23, Vinh Tan ward (Vinh city), Ms. Ngo Thi Hoa (born in 1956) has always been trusted and respected by the people. With more than 40 years as a cadre of the Women's Union and many years as Vice President of the Elderly Association, Ms. Hoa has always shown her dedication and enthusiasm for the common movement of the block, contributing to building solidarity and cohesion among households in the block.
Ms. Hoa said: “The area of block 23 is adjacent to Vinh market, the women are mainly in business and trading, so they are often very busy, rarely have free time to participate in the movements of the Women's Union. As a branch officer, I always find ways to mobilize women to participate in collective activities, focus on community life to broaden their vision and build solidarity and cohesion.”

Thanks to that, the women in the block have actively participated in environmental sanitation movements, maintained security and order, helped each other develop the economy and carried out humanitarian and charitable activities. Among them, it is necessary to mention the establishment of the "Golden Birthday" Club founded by Branch Head Ngo Thi Hoa.
The club was established on the basis of gathering members in the branch, each month the members save a certain amount of spending to deposit into the club. On the birthday, that amount will be withdrawn to buy gold for the members. According to Ms. Hoa, the "Golden Birthday" club has created a bond between the members, the sisters are increasingly united, attached, always loving and helping each other in life.

In addition, Branch President Ngo Thi Hoa also advocated for the establishment and maintenance of the Folk Dance Club, helping female members relax and entertain after a tiring day at work. At the same time, practicing, improving health, preventing bone and joint diseases and contributing to strengthening solidarity and friendship.
In particular, the Women's Union of Block 23, Vinh Tan Ward is also known for its charitable and humanitarian activities. Recently, Ms. Hoa mobilized some women in the union to support 20 million VND to help Ms. Vi Thi Minh, a member with especially difficult circumstances, buy corrugated iron to re-roof her house; mobilized more than 6 million VND to support people in the northern provinces affected by Typhoon Yagi and regularly support poor children in the mountains.
In addition, Ms. Hoa also mobilized Ms. Vo Thi Thao and Ms. Nhu Thi Thong to be godmothers of two orphaned children in grade 10 with an amount of 500,000 VND/month/child, helping the children have more expenses for studying and living.
Ms. Ngo Thi Hoa is a long-time association official with a lot of prestige and experience, contributing a lot to grassroots movements. With a sense of responsibility and enthusiasm in work, Ms. Hoa and the Women's Association of Block 23 have received many Certificates of Merit from the ward and the city.

Gathering coastal members
Growing up from grassroots activities, Ms. Nguyen Thi Tham (born in 1974) - President of the Women's Union of Dien Kim Commune (Dien Chau) understands and prioritizes the gathering and uniting of female members. Right from the beginning of her term, she has oriented the activities of the Women's Union of the commune according to the motto "Where there are women, there is the Union".

Thanks to that, the whole commune now has 1,918 members, the attendance rate is nearly 70%. Ms. Tham said: “With a difficult commune, the majority of women work far away, gathering members is quite difficult. The Standing Committee of the Association has proposed many solutions, focusing on organizing diversified activities to improve the spiritual life of women, creating conditions for members to access capital sources for economic development...”.

The Dien Kim Commune Women's Union focuses on humanitarian and charitable activities, mutual love, and well-implements the movement of visiting and giving gifts to poor and sick members, disabled and orphaned children, and building and repairing houses for poor single women in especially difficult circumstances. In 2024, 4 orphans were sponsored by the branches and the Standing Committee of the association with a total amount of 10,000,000 VND/year/4 children, bringing the total number of sponsored children in the whole commune to 11.
Chairwoman of the Women's Union of the commune, Nguyen Thi Tham, is always a role model in both work and life. With her enthusiasm and dynamism, Ms. Tham has always brought the Union movement to the top of the district. She also received a Certificate of Merit from the Provincial Women's Union and the Vietnam Women's Union for her movement to build the Union organization. She is also one of the typical examples of Dien Chau district in studying and following the ideology, morality and style of Ho Chi Minh.

Ms. Vi Thi Nguyet (born in 1984) is the daughter-in-law of Can village, Tam Thai commune, Tuong Duong mountainous district. She is loved and trusted by many people because in addition to being a good women's association president, always dedicated to the Association's work, she is also a typical example of good economics.

Under the leadership of the Association President Vi Thi Nguyet, the Can Women's Association has always been the leading flag in movements, with many models that have a wide influence in the community such as: 1,000 VND ATM; Saving rice jar; Members help each other develop the economy; "Family of 5 haves, 3 cleans", "Clean house - model garden", "Clean house - beautiful garden - green fence", "Women's flower street"...

As a lover of cultural arts and national cultural identity, Ms. Vi Thi Nguyet has worked hard to mobilize and gather people in the village who are capable of using traditional musical instruments, have talent for dancing and singing to exchange and learn from each other. After a short time, many people participated, the activities were initially organized and effective, Ms. Nguyet proposed to her superiors to establish a Folk Song - Folk Dance Club.
With her positive contributions to the Women's Union movements, Ms. Vi Thi Nguyet is loved and trusted by the women of Can village, and recognized by the Party Committee, government and Women's Union at all levels with many Certificates of Merit and titles.
Ms. Vi Thi Nguyet is a dedicated and enthusiastic branch president, a pioneer in the activities and movements of the Association. In addition, she is also active in economic development, boldly investing in transformation, applying science and technology to livestock and crop farming, bringing high economic efficiency. She has made an important contribution to gathering members, creating a spreading force for the economic development movement, and rising out of poverty.
