Party members subject to review, screening, and removal from the Party
(Baonghean.vn) - In 2019, Nghe An will conduct 2 rounds of party member screening and selection, with the first round to be completed before June 30, 2019 and the second round to be completed before December 31, 2019.
The Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee issued Instruction No. 42 - HD/BTCTU (dated May 17), some contents implementing Directive No. 28 - CT/TW, dated January 21, 2019 of the Secretariat on improving the quality of Party membership admission and reviewing, screening, and removing unqualified Party members from the Party.

Accordingly, regarding the review and screening of party members and the removal of unqualified party members from the Party, the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee guides the subjects subject to review and screening to include: probationary party members who are not eligible to officially transfer to the Party; party members who do not meet the political standards according to Regulation No. 126 - QD/TW, dated February 28, 2018, regulating a number of issues on internal political protection of the Party.
Party members who violate party membership qualifications for two consecutive years and are classified as failing to fulfill their duties; Party members who stop participating in party activities or do not pay party dues for three months in a year without a valid reason; Party members who do not transfer their party membership or have transferred their party membership but do not submit their application to the competent party organization.
Party members have lost their will to strive, do not perform their duties as party members, have been educated by the party cell but after 12 months of striving, have not made any progress; party members have degraded, "self-evolved", "self-transformed", said and done things contrary to the Party and State's guidelines and policies.
Party members who voluntarily return their party membership cards or cancel their party membership cards; Party members who violate Party discipline and State policies and laws.
According to the guidelines, the review, screening, and removal of unqualified party members from the Party is a regular task of Party committees at all levels. In 2019, it will be divided into two phases: phase 1 to be completed before June 30, 2019, and phase 2 to be completed before December 31, 2019.
