Brain tumors come in all shapes and sizes, so do their symptoms.
According to Dr. Theodore Schwartz, a neurosurgeon at the Weill Cornell Spine and Brain Center (USA), the key to recognizing the symptoms of a tumor depends on its location,

However, some of the signs and symptoms listed below are more common than others, according to Prevention.
Epileptic
Regardless of the type of tumor, seizures are often one of the first signs of the disease. Irritation from the nerve cell tumors causes the brain to lose control. The patient may have a generalized seizure, or a seizure that is limited to a limb or part of the face.
Numb
Loss of feeling in a part of your body or face is something to be concerned about. In particular, if the tumor forms in the part of the brain that connects to the spinal cord, you may lose feeling in your spine or have clumsy movements.
Changes in memory or thinking
Brain tumors can cause major changes in a person's behavior or personality. People with tumors are more likely to have memory problems, feel confused, or suffer from thinking problems.
Nausea
Feeling nauseous or having abdominal pain, especially if these symptoms are persistent and unexplained, can be a sign of a tumor, says Dr. Schwartz.
Changes in vision
Blurry vision and decreased vision are both associated with tumors. You may also see spots or shapes, or bright spots if you have a brain tumor.
No frequent headaches
Headaches are not usually an early sign of a brain tumor, but occasional headaches can be one of the first symptoms of the disease.
Dr. Schwartz said some genetic disorders can lead to brain tumors. For large or malignant brain tumors, treatment may include surgery, medications, radiation therapy, or chemotherapy. However, not all brain tumors are serious. Many are small and benign, and do not require treatment. Therefore, it is important to recognize the early signs for timely treatment./.
