(Baonghean.vn) - Since 1956, the introduction and display of relics about President Ho Chi Minh has been regularly carried out at the Kim Lien Relic Site. The relics contain many meaningful messages, helping us better understand Uncle Ho's life and appreciate more the noble human values that he left behind.

Simple yet majestic

At Kim Lien Relic Site, there are still many lines of notes from State leaders of different periods, from international delegations and from Vietnamese people, expressing their respect and love for Him - the beloved father of the nation. Visiting Kim Lien in 1990, General Secretary Nguyen Van Linh wrote: "I am moved to visit the homeland and birthplace of beloved Uncle Ho. Hearing stories about Uncle Ho's childhood and his parents, I understand more clearlyOur Uncle Ho clearly had a patriotic and people-loving root and was a great man...”. From Uncle Ho's second homeland, the delegation of Cao Bang province officials could not hide their feelings of "being moved and choked with emotion when we witnessed with our own eyes Uncle Ho's simple yet rich childhood. Remembering the day Uncle Ho returned to Cao Bang with "rice porridge and bamboo shoots" that connected us to him and to the revolution...".

Since 1956, right after the victory of the resistance war against the French, the Party and the Government had a policy to restore the Sen and Hoang Tru Village Relics and the Kim Lien Relic Site was established under the name "Homeland Construction Board". To preserve the relic intact, in the first years, the people who protected and looked after Uncle Ho's house were his neighbors, namely Nguyen Sinh Thoan, Nguyen Sinh Vinh, Nguyen Sinh Hao...

In 1970, after President Ho Chi Minh passed away, the President Ho Chi Minh Memorial House was added here. During the first 20 years of the Relic Site's operation, the work of collecting artifacts and memorabilia related to the life, career and career of Uncle Ho and his family was carried out very urgently and elaborately. During the war years, due to the destruction of bombs and bullets, in order to protect the safety of the relic, there were times when the relic had to be dismantled, evacuated, and the documents and artifacts brought to a safe place.

At this time, when visiting Hoang Tru, Lang Sen to visit Uncle Ho's maternal and paternal hometowns, the old relics have been restored almost intact. Coming to Uncle Ho's hometown, people from all over the country and even foreign tourists are impressed with the very simple and rustic images of Uncle Ho's family and the stories surrounding his life. Here, in Uncle Ho's paternal hometown, there is still the house of Mr. Pho Bang Nguyen Sinh Sac - a gift that the people of Lang Sen gave him after he passed the Tan Suu Royal Examination (1901).

In 1957, the day he returned home for the first time after many years away, Uncle Ho stood silently before the altar, lighting incense for his relatives. At the house of the Vice-Chancellor, there was still a wooden chest to store food, a wooden tray used to receive distinguished guests, and a flower garden that was green all year round, which Uncle Ho still remembered very clearly when he returned home...

Returning to visit Uncle Ho's hometown after 10 years, Ms. Le Xuan Minh in Tan Trao (Tuyen Quang) confided: "I am really touched because even though many years have passed, the relics and memorabilia in Uncle Ho's hometown are still intact. Listening to stories about Uncle Ho, I feel the affection between Uncle Ho and the people here, everything is profound.Uncle Ho's life was simple and plain, but he accomplished great things.".
