We visited Anh Son Secondary School and met Tran Tue Nhan during her break time. When asked about her recent exam results, Tue Nhan expressed immense happiness and joy at having achieved her highest personal goal.

Sharing about how she developed a passion for Geography, Tuệ Nhân said: "With the dream of traveling everywhere to learn about life, nature, and people, to explore new lands and the mysteries around me, I fell in love with Geography and became passionate about it as soon as I entered junior high school."

Nhan shared that, contrary to what many people think, Geography is not just a theoretical subject requiring rote memorization. Geography encompasses both theory and practice, demanding a learning method that suits one's abilities and level, along with diligence, perseverance, and a good memory.

Tuệ Nhân added that when studying Geography, one must clearly understand the basic knowledge, master data processing methods, and know how to apply formulas from Mathematics and Physics to solve exercises. Along with that, one should actively cultivate social knowledge, grasp more information about daily life, and incorporate real-life experiences into the exercises. Furthermore, to excel in this subject, one should not only explore the world around them, but also delve deeper into understanding natural phenomena and social issues of different regions... thereby gaining a better understanding of Vietnam and its people, as well as many other places around the world.

Sharing more about her study methods, Tuệ Nhân said that for social science subjects, the first thing is to study diligently, paying close attention to teachers' lectures to absorb the core knowledge. Along with that, connect phenomena within a system to easily remember and apply them. At the same time, focus on practicing the skill of synthesizing basic knowledge from textbooks and advanced knowledge provided by teachers. For Geography specifically, in addition to thoroughly studying basic knowledge and mastering data processing methods to solve exercises, she actively watches news on mass media such as television, books, newspapers, and advanced materials to update current events and social information. During the preparation for the provincial excellent student competition, Tuệ Nhân always diligently read additional materials outside of textbooks to make her work richer, more vivid, and achieve a perfect score.

Ms. Hoang Thi Thuy Linh, from residential group 2, Anh Son town, and mother of Tue Nhan, said: "Tue Nhan is the eldest child in the family. Both parents work freelance and don't have stable jobs, so the family's life isn't very well-off. Because she felt sorry for her parents' hard work, Tue Nhan has been self-motivated to study since she was little. She knows how to arrange her study schedule to suit her needs, so her parents don't have to worry or nag her."

To achieve this success, the young student Tuệ Nhân also received enthusiastic and dedicated guidance from her teachers at school, especially her geography teacher. Ms. Nguyễn Hồng Nga, Tuệ Nhân's geography teacher, said: "Tuệ Nhân is a diligent, hardworking, and eager-to-learn student with a strong desire to improve. These are her strengths that enable her to excel in geography – a subject that demands diligence, perseverance, and a high level of self-study." According to Ms. Nga, during the preparation period, the students in the team always put in 100% effort, especially Tuệ Nhân. Of the five students in the geography team who competed, four passed, with Tuệ Nhân winning first prize, one winning third prize, and two receiving honorable mentions.

"Tuệ Nhân's achievement of being the top student in Geography in Group A didn't surprise her teachers or friends, because at all levels of education, Tuệ Nhân has always been an impressive student and is respected by many friends and teachers for her diligence and hard work. Throughout her 8 years of schooling, she was an all-around excellent student. From grades 7 to 9, she consistently won high prizes in the district-level excellent student competition in Geography and Literature. Trần Tuệ Nhân's efforts and dedication have inspired me to love my profession and the subject I teach even more," shared Ms. Hồng Nga.
