Faced with this situation, talking with Mr. Nguyen Tat Tay - Head of the District Education and Training Department, he said: According to the district's direction, to ensure absolute safety for students from tomorrow morning (October 30), all students in the district will be off school until further notice. In addition, the department has requested units to be assigned to be on duty at schools to monitor the situation and have a quick plan to move school equipment and books out of flooded areas.

Since the morning of October 29, all preschool students in Nam Dan district and some primary and secondary schools in the district have also had their students off school. In the area, communes such as Nam Anh, Nam Xuan, and Tan - Thuong - Loc have begun to experience local flooding. Mr. Le Trung Son - Head of the district's Department of Education and Training said: Currently, there is very heavy rain in Nam Dan district and there is a possibility of flooding. In the immediate future, the department will direct schools to monitor the actual situation and will notify parents before 6am tomorrow if they have to take a day off.

On the same afternoon, at Vo Liet 1 Primary School (Thanh Chuong), the commune government mobilized forces to support the school in moving equipment, teaching aids, records, documents, and machinery to the second floor to avoid the flood water. Currently, the water has reached the yard and some offices. The school's students have also been absent from school since this afternoon.

In Ngoc Lam commune, a mountainous commune, there are many streams and creeks, which are at risk of flash floods and landslides. Meanwhile, this is a commune with a large area and many separate schools. To ensure the safety of students, schools have announced that they will stay home from school until the weather stabilizes.
