7-seat car plunged into river, 3 people died
A 7-seat car and 3 victims' bodies trapped inside at Song Ma, National Highway 217, old ferry terminal area, Cam Thuy district, Thanh Hoa province were recovered by authorities.
Previously, at around 6:00 a.m. on October 11, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department - Thanh Hoa Provincial Police received a report from Cam Thuy District Police to support the search for a suspected car while it was traveling on the old National Highway 217.jump into the riverCode.
The unit mobilized 20 officers and soldiers, along with equipment and vehicles, to quickly arrive at the scene to carry out rescue work. The rescue force used a camera and other specialized equipment to search for the car. After 30 minutes, the rescue force determined the location of the sunken car. Officers and soldiers dived down to tie ropes and used a crane to salvage the crashed car. Inside the car, there were 3 dead victims.

The victims were identified as Dinh Tan Thanh, Le Canh Huy (both born in 1983, residing in Yen Cat town, Nhu Xuan district, Thanh Hoa) and Quach Cong Ty (born in 1984, residing in village 7, Ngoc Lien, Ngoc Lac district). The vehicle involved in the accident had license plate number: 36A - 460.50.
