Mr. Bui Quang Huy was re-elected as First Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the 12th Youth Union, term 2022 - 2027.
On the morning of December 16, the 12th National Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, term 2022 - 2027, introduced the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and Secretariat of the Central Youth Union.
Previously, on the afternoon of December 15, the first conference of the Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, term XII, took place.
There were 144 delegates elected to the Central Executive Committee of the Youth Union. The new Executive Committee elected a Standing Committee of 33 members, a Secretariat of 6 members, a Central Inspection Committee of the Youth Union, and a Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee of the Youth Union.
Mr. Bui Quang Huy - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, First Secretary of the Central Youth Union, 11th tenure - was re-elected as First Secretary of the Central Youth Union, 12th tenure.

The re-elected Secretaries of the 12th Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union include: Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Luong, President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union; Ms. Nguyen Pham Duy Trang, President of the Central Council of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union; Mr. Ngo Van Cuong, Head of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union; Mr. Nguyen Tuong Lam, Permanent Deputy Head of the National Committee on Vietnamese Youth; Mr. Nguyen Minh Triet, President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Student Association.
On behalf of the 12th Central Executive Committee of the Youth Union, First Secretary of the Central Youth Union Bui Quang Huy expressed his gratitude for the trust and expectations of the congress for the 144 members. At the same time, he promised that the new term Executive Committee will continue to promote solidarity, strive to excellently complete its tasks, lead the work of the Youth Union and the youth movement nationwide to continue to reap many successes, and implement the resolutions set forth by the congress.
Mr. Bui Quang Huy (born in 1977, from Nghe An) has a Master's degree in Law, Bachelor of Law, and advanced political theory.
Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Luong (born in 1978, from Thanh Hoa) has a PhD in Law, a BA in English, and a senior degree in political theory.
Ms. Nguyen Pham Duy Trang (born in 1982, from Binh Duong) has a Master's degree in Law, Bachelor of Law, and senior political science.
Mr. Ngo Van Cuong (born in 1984, from Bac Ninh) has a PhD in Economics, Master of Business Administration, Construction Engineer, and senior political theory.
Mr. Nguyen Tuong Lam (born in 1984, from Ninh Binh) has a PhD in Construction and a senior degree in political theory.
Mr. Nguyen Minh Triet (born in 1988, from Kien Giang) has a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, a Master's degree in Aviation Engines, an Aviation Engine Engineer, and a senior political theory major.
