Facebook boss jogs in Beijing
Mark Zuckerberg posted a photo of himself jogging in Beijing (China) but was criticized for not wearing a mask in a place with a lot of dust.
"It's great to be back in Beijing! I started my visit with a run through Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and to the Temple of Heaven," the Facebook founder shared with a photo of himself running.
However, the Chinese social media community was "uproared" when Mark Zuckerberg did not wear a mask. According to the country's Meteorological Center, the dust situation in Beijing is at a "very dangerous" level. The city had to issue a "red alert" after smog was 25 times higher than the permitted level.

While schools are being asked to close and people are being advised to limit going out and wear masks to protect their health, Mark Zuckerberg seems to be "ignoring" this information. Some members believe that the Facebook boss is trying to build a good image with the Chinese people and government.
"Mark went to Beijing, determined to run. Mark did not wear a mask and returned to the US with lung disease. Don't be like Mark, wear a mask," Cindy Acevedo wrote on Facebook. Yu Teng commented: "I understand your efforts to expand in the Chinese market, but as a resident here, I want to remind you that the pollution index in Beijing is 384 (very toxic level, the safety index must be less than 30)."

While many people are concerned about Mark Zuckerberg's health, some commentators have questioned how he can access Facebook in China. This country has blocked many international social networks including Facebook, Twitter... or Google services.
Mark Zuckerberg has made several trips to China in recent years, as part of his efforts to bring his social network to the country. He even learned the language and gave a speech in Chinese to a large group of students.
During his meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping in the US late last year, Mark Zuckerberg attempted to lift the ban on Facebook in China but was unsuccessful. At that time, the Facebook boss also suggested that Xi give his first child a Chinese name but was refused.
