Leicester City confounded all predictions by winning the Premier League title last season, finishing ten points ahead of runners-up Arsenal.
Thai owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha has announced that he will reward each player with a Mercedes B-Class Electric Drive worth around $42,000.
But in reality, the businessman gave a bigger reward than he promised. “Vichai spent about $2.6 million to buy 19 BMW i8s. These supercars will appear outside the King Power Stadium before each match,” the newspaper said.Metro(UK) reported on August 5.
This new BMW sports car costs around $130,000 in the UK, and was recently put up for sale in Vietnam for more than VND5 billion.

Manager Claudio Ranieri used all 23 players in the campaign to conquer the Premier League last season. However, there were four players who did not receive a car: Joe Dodoo, Andrej Kramaric, Yohan Benalouane, and N'Golo Kante - the French midfielder who joined Chelsea this summer.
Leicester and Man Utd will compete for the Community Shield on Sunday, August 7, at Wembley Stadium.
