Mr. Le Thanh Nhan re-elected Chairman of the People's Council of Quynh Luu district
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of June 23, 2016, the People's Council of Quynh Luu district, term XIX, 2016 - 2021, held its first session to elect key positions of the People's Council and People's Committee of the district, term XIX.
Attending the meeting were comrades: Nguyen Huu Lam - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee; Tran Van Mao - Standing Member of the Provincial People's Council, Deputy of the 14th National Assembly; representatives of leaders of a number of departments and branches of the province.

The first session of the People's Council of Quynh Luu district, term XIX, 2016 - 2021 is the first session to complete the apparatus of the People's Council and People's Committee of the district according to regulations.
The meeting approved the Draft agenda of the first session of the 19th District People's Council; Report on the election results of the 19th District People's Council Delegates, term 2016 - 2021 and report on the results of confirming the qualifications of delegates.

The meeting elected Mr. Le Thanh Nhan - Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Council, term XVIII, to continue holding the position of Chairman of the District People's Council, term XIX, with 41/41 votes, reaching 100%.
Mr. Le Xuan Kien - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the District Party Committee's Propaganda Department holds the position of Vice Chairman of the District People's Council, term XIX, with 41/41 votes reaching 100%; To Van Thu - Member of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union, Member of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District Farmers' Union holds the position of Vice Chairman of the District People's Council, term XIX, with 40/41 votes reaching 97.5%.
Mr. Hoang Danh Lai - Deputy Secretary, Chairman of the District People's Committee continued to be elected to hold the position of Chairman of the District People's Committee with 41/41 votes, reaching 100%. Messrs. Ho Ngoc Dung, Dang Ngoc Binh, Nguyen Van Quy were re-elected as Vice Chairmen of the District People's Committee with high votes.

| According to the report of the District People's Council, the election of National Assembly and People's Council deputies at all levels in the district was successful, good, and truly a festival of the people. 97% of voters in the district participated in the vote to choose people with virtue and talent to speak for the people. Particularly for the District People's Council deputies, voters in the district elected 41 out of 68 candidates. The District People's Council deputies of the 19th term, 2016 - 2021, all fully qualified to represent the voice of the people in the district. |
