Mr. Nguyen Hoai An re-elected Chairman of Vinh City People's Committee

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 5, Vinh City People's Council held its first session, term XXI, term 2016 - 2021, electing key positions of the City People's Council and People's Committee, term 2016 - 2021.

Attending the meeting were comrades Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of the Provincial Public Security Bloc; Vo Viet Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee - Secretary of the Vinh City Party Committee. At the meeting, delegates heard a report on the election results of the City People's Council deputies for the 2016-2021 term. The election in the city was successful, ensuring safety, economy and direction, with 40 candidates elected as City People's Council deputies, term XXI, term 2016-2021.

Comrade Vo Viet Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of Vinh City Party Committee gave a speech at the meeting.

The session conducted elections for key positions of the People's Council, People's Committee, People's Council Committees, People's Court Jury and members of the City People's Committee.

As a result, Mr. Nguyen Van Lu, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the Vinh City People's Council for the 21st term with 100% of the votes; Ms. Ngo Thi Huong - Deputy Head of the City Party Committee's Organization Board and Mr. Le Van Ngoc - Secretary of the Ha Huy Tap Ward Party Committee were elected to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the Vinh City People's Council for the 21st term, 2016-2021, with 100% of the votes.

At the meeting of Vinh City People's Council, Mr. Nguyen Hoai An - Deputy Secretary, Chairman of the City People's Committee for the 2011-2016 term was elected to continue to hold the position of Chairman of the City People's Committee for the 2016-2021 term with 100% of the votes; the Vice Chairmen of the City People's Committee for the 2011-2016 term, including Mr. Le Sy Chien, Ha Thanh Tinh, Tran Van Son and Dau Vinh Thinh, continued to be elected as Vice Chairmen of Vinh City People's Committee, term XXIII, term 2016-2021 with 100% of the votes in favor.

Comrade Vo Viet Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of Vinh City Party Committee presented flowers to congratulate the leaders of Vinh City People's Committee for the new term.

Also at the meeting, Vinh City People's Council elected 14 members of Vinh City People's Committee for the 2016-2021 term and elected city people's court jurors for the 2016-2021 term.
