Mr. Nguyen Huu Lam: Contribute to the most effective implementation of the People's Council's resolution

Being nominated as a candidate for the 17th term of the Provincial People's Council, 2016 - 2021, is both an honor and a responsibility for me. It is an honor to be nominated as a candidate for the Provincial People's Council in Quynh Luu district - a place with a long tradition of revolution and learning; a land rich in cultural traditions; the people are industrious, intelligent, and creative in labor and production.

At the same time, it also imposes higher responsibilities, because I have to combine the responsibilities of a provincial People's Council delegate elected in Quynh Luu with the responsibilities assigned by the Provincial Party Committee to monitor and direct the district. However, this is a favorable condition for me, if elected, I will be able to combine the tasks of the Party and the tasks entrusted by voters, creating high efficiency in work, contributing to the development of my homeland and improving the lives of the people.

If elected by the voters as a representative of the Provincial People's Council, I will promote the role of a people's representative, fulfill the requirements and duties of a representative according to the provisions of the law. To do so, I myself will constantly improve my moral qualities, be exemplary in abiding by the law, actively fight against all manifestations of bureaucracy, arrogance, authoritarianism, corruption, waste and other violations of the law, protect the interests of the State, the rights and legitimate interests of citizens.

Regularly study, practice, improve all aspects of qualifications and capacity to perform the duties of People's Council delegates; thereby actively contributing and participating in deciding important issues in the locality; at the same time, propagate and mobilize people to well implement the policies of the Party and State, as well as the Resolutions issued by the Provincial People's Council.

I will arrange my time and propose scientific working methods to both complete my assigned tasks and fulfill my duties as an elected representative. First of all, I will spend time to be close to, contact, connect with and closely follow the people; promptly grasp the thoughts, aspirations as well as urgent and prominent issues at the grassroots level to reflect at meetings, propose to the Standing Committee of the People's Council and relevant agencies to consider and resolve the legitimate requests of voters and people. Participate in the decisions and resolutions of the People's Council with quality, contributing to promoting the socio-economic development, national defense and security of the province in general, and each locality in particular, including Quynh Luu district.

I will also actively participate in the activities of the People's Council, constantly promote the capacity, intelligence and courage in the supervision activities of the Provincial People's Council over state agencies in law enforcement and implementation of policies and resolutions of the People's Council. Thereby, promptly detect difficulties and shortcomings to propose amendments and supplements, in order to meet the requirements of practical life; at the same time, rectify and overcome limitations and shortcomings so that policies, resolutions and resolutions are implemented most effectively.

In my assigned position, I will work with the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee to advise the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Committee's Executive Committee to propose policies and solutions to promote Party building; constantly improve the Party's leadership capacity and fighting strength, and improve the quality of cadres and party members. Do a good job of arranging the apparatus, staffing and cadres. Focus on building strong and effective Party organizations and political system organizations from the province to the grassroots level; contribute to the successful implementation of Resolution 26 of the Politburo, Resolution of the 18th Provincial Party Congress, term 2016 - 2021, striving to make Nghe An a fairly developed province in the Northern region.

At the same time, I will continue to adjust and add new issues to my action program to increasingly better perform the duties of a provincial People's Council delegate.
